Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking an On-site International Technical Program Lead to coordinate multi-week overseas and U.S.

field missions, manage logistics, export/import compliance, and stakeholder alignment with partner nations and government staff. The role begins as an understudy to the current lead and progresses to full program leadership, requiring active DoW TS/SCI clearance and strong relationship-building with customers.

Qualifications

• Active DoW TS/SCI security clearance and ability to pass a CI Polygraph.
• BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 8–10 years of experience or MS/PhD in Science or Engineering with 6–8 years.
• Prior experience planning and managing field projects including logistics, security constraints and personnel coordination.
• Strong ability to build relationships and brief customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as understudy and eventual lead for overseas technical assessments and site visits.
• Lead development of materials presented to US Government stakeholders.
• Manage all field logistics including travel, export/import considerations, and equipment readiness.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholder agendas and partner nation sensitivities.
• Support long-term strategy and relationship building with partners and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with international agreements and security regulations.
