Job summary

The role focuses on accurate documentation, timely processing, and delivering high-quality service to clients. This full-time onsite position requires 3 years of ocean freight experience, knowledge of ISF, FDA rules, and strong organization.

Qualifications

• 3 years of ocean import/export or freight forwarding experience.
• Strong knowledge of import entry procedures, compliance rules, and regulations.
• Experience with First Port of Arrival (FPOA) entries preferred.
• FDA, ISF, and OGA transaction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process ocean import and export shipments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate shipment documentation and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and other government agencies.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external clients via email, phone, and system communications.
• Perform accounting-related tasks, including client invoicing and cost tracking, per customer-specific SOPs.
• Accurately enter and maintain shipment data in internal systems while meeting KPIs.
• Support compliance with ISF, FDA, OGA, and other regulatory requirements as applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
