Job summary

Eagle Logistics Systems, a division of AJC Logistics, is seeking a Logistics Specialist (Domestic) to join our San Juan operations. You will be the primary contact for multiple accounts, handling import/export and ocean freight tasks with a focus on accuracy and service.

You will coordinate bookings, manage inventory on site, prepare loading plans, and communicate with customers about schedules, discrepancies, and claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2–5 years in logistics, ocean freight, or customer service.
• English fluency in reading, writing and speaking.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while building relationships with customers.
• Manage inquiries and requests promptly.
• Create and organize booking files with all necessary information.
• Coordinate bookings with steamship lines via multiple channels.
• Manage inventory onsite and provide visibility to customers.
• Send daily on-hand inventory reports and appointment schedules.
• Ensure product discrepancies are communicated (damage, shortage, overage).
• Prepare loading plans per client instructions and constraints.
• Submit bills of lading to steamship lines.
• Notify customers of sailing date changes.
• Assist with claim processes and service failure investigations.
