Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Freight Forwarder Ocean Import to handle import/export activities by ocean, including customs clearance, carrier bookings, cargo tracking, and documentation. You will coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods.

The role requires experience in ocean freight, excellent communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Prior freight forwarding experience in ocean import/export is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with carriers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage importation by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to final destination.
• Manage exportation by ocean, including carrier booking and movement of goods.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies for on-time delivery.
• Prepare and submit required customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, B/Ls).
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers on status.
