Job summary

Expeditors, a global logistics leader, seeks an Ocean Export Specialist to ensure timely movement of shipments and accurate documentation from the U.S. and abroad.

You will respond to emails, gather shipment elements, prepare export files, review documents for compliance, coordinate bookings and pickups, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding company standards. You will work with colleagues across teams to monitor shipments and keep data current, ensuring invoicing accuracy and

Qualifications

• Global logistics industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emails timely.
• Gather all required shipment elements and documents for Export
• Log & Prepare File for Export
• Review of Customer Shipment Documents for Compliance both for U.S Customs and Destination Customs
• Request Inbonds if required
• Review and confirm customer rates and ensure TLI’s are updated prior to shipment pick up
• Request bookings
• Coordinate pickup with approved service providers
• Coordination with team members in our warehouse
• Process shipments timely with in booking Port and Document cut offs
• Monitor and update shipments with core events as per OPS
• Invoicing timely and accurately
• Settle files timely and accurately
