Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Global Occupational Health & Wellness Director to design and govern a global OH strategy, including injury and workers’ compensation oversight, employee wellness, and IH governance. While based in the United States, this high-visibility role offers flexibility for placement in Australia.

You will lead global OH programs, align with EHS, HR, Legal, and operations, and drive early intervention, data systems, KPIs, and governance.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in occupational health leadership within multinational or regulated industries.
• Strong experience with U.S. Injury Management and Workers’ compensation programs.
• Knowledge of Australian self-insurance injury management and Early Intervention programs.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EU OSH, Australian WHS laws and ISO 45001/45003 frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global Occ Health & Wellness strategy aligned with EHS vision.
• Lead Injury Management and Workers’ Compensation programs across US, Europe, and Australia.
• Establish global standards, clinical protocols, and IH governance systems.
• Oversee global case management including rapid triage and accommodation assessments.
• Govern Australian self-insurance injury management systems and audits.
• Oversee international Early Intervention programs focusing on rapid triage and workability.
• Lead OH/IH global teams and manage external vendor performance.
• Own global Occupational Health data systems, KPIs, and reporting.
