Job summary

The Project Manager for CPI at ASSA ABLOY Group leads new product and product enhancements for automatic door systems from concept through commercialization. You coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and marketing to ensure timely, cost-effective launches and adherence to stage-gate processes.

The role requires strong communication, ownership, and the ability to manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, PM, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in product development, engineering, manufacturing, or NPI environments.
• Experience delivering in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
• Experience with hardware, electromechanical, or building products preferred.
• PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of new product and product enhancements for automatic doors from concept to commercialization.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and track milestones, driving accountability and issue escalation.
• Define project requirements and scope with stakeholders to meet outlined needs or deviations.
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource estimates through launch.
• Drive stage-gate process adherence from design readiness to commercial launch.
• Lead cross-functional meetings, assign action items, and escalate decisions when needed.
• Identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation and recovery plans and keep leadership informed.
