Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an experienced NPI Process Engineering Manager to lead global process development teams and improve manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of engineering experience, strong technical expertise, and a proven ability to collaborate across functions, solve complex problems, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electromechanical or Mechanical) and 10+ years in Process Engineering, Qualification or NPI within electronics or connector manufacturing.
• At least 5 years in a managerial role is required.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven analysis skills (SPC, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities for NPI teams globally.
• Provide feedback to Design Engineers on components and assemblies (DFM).
• Collect process data, analyze and optimize assembly processes with ME team.
• Support process qualification and customer samples via NPI personnel.
• Lead transfer to production after development documents and qualifications are complete.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues and customer complaints.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical problems impacting manufacturing or supply chain.
• Document process specifications, work instructions, and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and supply chain to improve yield and reduce cost.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to achieve improvements.
• Mentor and lead a team, maintain accountability and excellence.
