Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Global Project Engineer to lead global NPI programs from design transfer to mass production in Valley Green, PA. You will coordinate across Product Engineering, Global NPI, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Test, Automation, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes manufacturing readiness, cross-site alignment, and risk management in a fast-paced NPI environment, with substantial travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
3-5 years of NPI, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, product transfer, or complex technical project experience.
Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering and manufacturing activities from development through production ramp.
Knowledge of drawings, BOMs, process validation, tooling, equipment qualification, test readiness, PFMEA/control plans, and manufacturing launch requirements.
Strong project-management skills with integrated schedule development, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk management, issue escalation, and action closure.
Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple functions, sites, and time zones.

Responsibilities

Drive technical project execution for global CBS NPI programs from design transfer through EVT, DVT, PVT, qualification, production launch, and ramp.
Develop integrated engineering execution plans covering design releases, BOM readiness, tooling, equipment, test, quality, process validation, capacity, build events, qualifications, and production readiness.
Coordinate cross-functional teams around milestones and deliverables.
Lead action-item discipline and manage risks, dependencies, and closure criteria.
Support NPI phase-gate readiness reviews and ensure manufacturing readiness before phase transitions.
Plan prototype and production build readiness including BOM, drawings, material, tooling, equipment, software, and staffing.
Coordinate design revisions, BOM changes, drawing releases, process changes, tooling updates, and test changes.
Maintain risk registers and drive technical recovery actions; communicate impact and closure criteria.
Coordinate process validation, equipment acceptance, test correlation, line qualification, yield improvement, and ramp-readiness activities.
Identify critical-path items and dependencies; monitor milestones and coordinate recovery plans.
