Job summary

Wanzl North America is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence. The PM will coordinate teams across Europe, Asia, and North America, balancing customer needs with engineering constraints.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in project management, 2+ years in NPD, with PMP or MBA preferred. Occasional travel up to 20% is required, and the role is based in the Denver, NC area.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of work experience; 3+ years of practical project management experience; 2+ years of PM experience in new product development (NPD)
• Experience coordinating project teams across multiple countries and time zones
• PMP certification and/or MBA is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field

Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Create project plans, including deliverables, activities, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets
• Coordinate project management activities across the Wanzl global network to ensure tracking of inter-project dependencies
• Build, track, and report project timelines and budgets
• Administer change control: receive, document, and route requests for changes to approved scope
• Prepare and present gate review packages with substantiated recommendations
• Travel: Up to 20%, including international travel as needs of the business dictate
