Job summary
G&W Electric Company is seeking a Director of Global New Product Development to lead the global NPD engineering organization from concept to launch and post-launch monitoring. You will set the technical strategy, own the global NPD plan and budget, and partner with Marketing, GPLMs, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to drive an innovative product pipeline for the power grid sector.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical required.
- 10+ years in engineering with 7+ years in a managerial role.
- Expertise in electrical/electromechanical design, power electronics, and systems integration.
- Proven track record leading global NPD teams on complex projects.
- Strong program execution, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for the NPD department aligned to business strategy.
- Own the global NPD strategic plan and budget with partners.
- Benchmark industry practices and drive NPD process improvements.
- Lead technical guidance and ensure deliverables meet specs and quality.
- Develop roadmaps and manage global product development network.
