Job summary

G&W Electric Co. seeks a New Product Development Engineering Manager to lead the design of new products and guide a global engineering team. You will steer projects through Stage-Gate processes, coach staff, manage budgets, and ensure design control with rigorous documentation and testing.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, high-quality solutions that meet deadlines and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in engineering design and/or development leading technical projects.
• Experience with Stage-Gate processes and project management.
• Experience with medium/high voltage electrical power systems.
• Experience reviewing DFMEA, PFMEA, and PPAP documents.
• Proficiency with standard office software and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-facility global design teams in a Stage-Gate process.
• Guide, coach and mentor project and functional engineering teams.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets.
• Ensure designs meet specifications and standards with proper design controls.
• Oversee validation and testing of components/systems.
• Maintain CAD data, drawings, and library standards.
