Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to lead a global team of program managers and business systems analysts supporting Product and Quality organizations. You will define long-term supply chain architecture strategies and guide cross-regional teams in designing and implementing supply chain capabilities, processes, and systems.

The role requires advanced supply chain knowledge, strong analytical and project management skills, and the ability to mentor teams

Qualifications

• First level university degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically, 8+ years of experience in a supply chain or related function.
• Typically, 5+ years of program management experience.
• People management experience or indirect cross functional leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management.
• Manages a team of exempt individual contributors.
• Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures proper tools are in place to support the team and processes.
• Plans, directs and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff; staff may handle strategic issues.
• Consults with business leaders to guide strategic decision-making within a limited scope.
• Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy.
• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established frameworks.
