Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a Director of Global Network & Systems Design to lead architecture, standards, and governance for a global portfolio of utility-scale energy storage projects. You will guide cross-functional teams including principal engineers and architects, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable solutions across regions.

The role requires deep expertise in industrial networking, IT/OT integration, cybersecurity, SCADA, and cloud connectivity, with the ability to travel

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years in network engineering, systems architecture, IT/OT infra, or related technical field.
• 5+ years leading senior engineers and globally distributed teams.
• Experience leading architecture for complex industrial or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial networking, IT/OT architectures, including security, segmentation, routing/switching, firewalls, and resilient designs.
• Solid understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles for critical infrastructure.
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, plant controls, and industrial protocols.
• Experience establishing standards, reference architectures, and governance across multiple projects/regions.
• Experience delivering design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and operations transitions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide global NSD leadership across architecture, engineering governance, and roadmaps.
• Establish secure, scalable reference architectures for network and IT/OT infra.
• Oversee global delivery from requirements through commissioning and handover to Services.
• Define technical escalation paths and governance for architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Cybersecurity and Services to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
