Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Global Transportation & Logistics to define and execute a global logistics strategy that supports rapid growth. You will lead a globally distributed team to design a scalable network, optimize costs, and ensure on-time project delivery across transportation, warehousing, and compliance.

The role requires 15+ years in global logistics, deep expertise in trade compliance, and strong financial acumen.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience in global logistics and supply chain leadership.
Deep expertise in international transportation, warehouse/network design, and trade compliance.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale logistics budgets.
Experience implementing logistics technology platforms (TMS, WMS, visibility tools).
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Leadership profile with strategic, systems-level thinking and execution credibility.
Proven ability to lead through growth, ambiguity, and transformation.
Data-driven decision-maker with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

Define and implement a multi-year global logistics and warehousing strategy aligned to business growth and footprint.
Lead and evolve a globally distributed team into a high-performing organization.
Own and manage global logistics spend, including budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure consistent execution across international transportation, warehousing, customs, and dangerous goods handling.
Define and execute logistics technology roadmap and analytics-driven decision-making.
Partner with global sourcing, manufacturing, project delivery, and commercial teams.
Develop risk mitigation strategies for geopolitical disruption and capacity constraints.
