Job summary

News Corp is seeking a Director, Global Network Operations to lead the network operations across the enterprise. You will supervise regional managers in the US, EMEA, and APAC, with India-based staff contributing remotely.

The role demands strong vendor management, budgeting, and cross-functional partnership to ensure secure, observable, and scalable network services. The position is Hybrid 3 days in NYC, with strategic involvement in architecture, security, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years IT infrastructure experience with 5+ years supervising network managers.
• Deep knowledge of WAN/LAN/WLAN, SD-WAN and multi-cloud networking (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM and Agile delivery; CCNP/CCIE or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Network Operations managers and the global delivery team in India.
• Drive resiliency, redundancy, observability, and security across the network.
• Oversee the global network budget, contracts, and vendor governance.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Project Management, Sourcing and Finance on delivery.
• Provide senior escalation for major incidents and RCA post-mortems.
