Job summary

Altera Digital Health is seeking a Senior Manager Network Operations to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the company’s global network infrastructure. You will drive reliability, scalability, and performance across on-premises and multi-cloud environments, guiding multiple teams of network engineers and managers.

You will define and execute the network strategy, collaborate with executive leadership, and ensure operational excellence aligned with evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Network Engineering/Operations
• At least 5+ years in leadership or senior management roles
• Proven experience leading large, distributed teams
• Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VPNs)
• Deep knowledge of VXLAN, BGP EVPN, QoS, PVST/RPVST
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Azure Networking and Azure Firewalls
• Experience in network design, architecture, and multi-cloud networking solutions
• Strong understanding of network security and packet analysis (Wireshark)
• Proven ability to lead large-scale transformations including automation and cloud adoption
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills
• CCNP or CCIE certification is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple teams of Network Operations engineers and team leads
• Define and execute the global network operations strategy
• Oversee design, implementation, and operations of enterprise network infrastructure
• Manage major incident governance and RCA processes
• Drive automation and DevOps practices in network operations
• Manage strategic relationships with service providers and vendors
• Own and manage the network operations budget and capacity planning
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards
