Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams
• LAN, WAN, and WLAN technologies and protocols
• 2+ years of experience supporting public cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 5+ years hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments
• Expert knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network management platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
• Deep understanding of OSI model networking (L1-L7)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and network monitoring tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Capacity to thrive under pressure
• Proven experience designing scalable network services with SLAs

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a global team of network engineers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and technical leadership.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define architectural strategies, budget priorities, and workload distribution.
• Partner with external vendors and service providers to deliver highly available, cost-optimized network solutions.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and other network infrastructure components.
• Monitor and analyze network performance to proactively identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks.
• Ensure seamless integration and operation of network systems by collaborating with other IT teams.
• Conduct network capacity planning and recommend upgrades or enhancements to support future growth.
• Implement and maintain network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control measures.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues, identifying root causes and deploying timely solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering and cybersecurity.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other IT staff.
