Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a Network Technical Principal for our Arlington, TX office. You will architect and engineer the Global Enterprise Network, focusing on SD-WAN, core routing, automation, and security.

You will lead, train, and mentor engineers while providing Tier III support and coordinating with Operations and Engineering. Expect a hybrid schedule with onsite and remote work and a strong focus on automation and best practices.

Qualifications

Expert level knowledge in core routing, SD-WAN and campus switching.
Experience with network automation and infrastructure as code.
Strong documentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Architect and engineer the Global Enterprise Network components.
Provide third-tier escalation and mentorship to engineers.
Lead automation initiatives and self-service workflows using Terraform and Ansible.
Develop network policies, diagrams, and standards documents.
Support incident management and change procedures across teams.
Collaborate with customers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
Maintain high attention to detail and compliance with TCF policies.
