Job summary

Arrivia, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer II to own changes across our global LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud, and security environments. You’ll help improve reliability, performance, and security while supporting millions of travel experiences yearly.

You’ll advance AI and automation use in network operations, create health checks and validations, and mentor junior engineers as part of a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in enterprise networking or equivalent
• Own network changes end-to-end with limited supervision
• Familiar with AI/automation in network ops is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own changes end-to-end from design to implementation and validation
• Plan and execute changes under change control with rollback plans
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN, VPNs, and monitoring tools across sites
• Implement firewall policies, ACLs, segmentation, and VPNs in HA setups
• Build with AI and automation: scripted checks, validation, and alert enrichment
• Follow responsible AI and data-handling guidelines
• Define success metrics and instrument dashboards to show impact
• Document progress, risks, and blockers for technical and business audiences
• Mentor Network Engineer I teammates and promote best practices
• Move quickly on reversible changes and weigh cost/benefit before build/buy
• Participate in rotational on-call, considering cloud costs and licenses
