Job summary

Pridgeon And Clay is seeking a Network Engineer to analyze, design, install, configure, and maintain the company's global network and data centers. You will manage Cisco-based infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls, and UC components, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

You should have a 4-year computer-related degree with 5+ years in IT, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into reliable network solutions.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in a computer-related field.
• 5+ years IT industry experience.
• Global WAN infrastructure knowledge and Cisco networking experience.
• Microsoft Exchange and/or SQL experience.
• Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support.
• Knowledge of Virtual Machine/Thin Client implementations.
• Knowledge of VPN and Firewall configuration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a global environment.
• Willingness to respond to end-user installation and maintenance needs.
• Demonstrated growth potential and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and secure global network infrastructure and data centers.
• Configure Cisco Firewalls, VPN Concentrators, and security appliances.
• Design and configure switching and wireless networks.
• Support IP addressing, DNS, and VPN services across locations.
• Ensure network performance meets business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methods.
• Support server and client network software upgrades and maintenance.
• Provide timely feedback and documentation to stakeholders.
