Job summary

Victaulic Company is seeking a Network Engineer (NCS-5) to manage its global data, voice, and security infrastructure. You will ensure reliability, accessibility, integrity, speed, and cost efficiency of network operations across the organization.

The role covers LAN, WAN, GAN, VPN, and WLAN, with responsibilities spanning administration, design, and security, plus collaboration with vendors and business partners to drive performance and secure connectivity worldwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience administering a Cisco data network.
• Thorough knowledge of networking essentials.
• Experience with common TCP/IP-based services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP).
• Familiarity with WAN technologies such as ATM or MPLS.

Responsibilities

• Administration of network infrastructure and configurations.
• Documentation of network setups and changes.
• Monitoring, logging, alerting, and reporting for network performance.
• Design and configuration of LAN/WAN/GAN and related services.
• Maintenance and security vendor management.
• Establishes relationships with vendors and partners.
• Keeps up-to-date with advancements in networking technology.
• Move, add, and change management: install hardware and integrate voice with data networks.
• Provide technical support and training for users; collaborate with IT staff.
