Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Network Engineer to oversee its global data, voice, and security infrastructure. This role ensures reliable, accessible, and cost-efficient network operations across offices and remote sites.

The successful candidate will administer routers, switches, security devices, VPNs, and network software, while developing roadmaps and coordinating with IT staff and vendors to maintain peak performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience administering a Cisco data network.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
• CCNA certification or equivalent networking certification preferred.
• Experience with Cisco ASA Firewall and Zone-Based Firewall (desired).

Responsibilities

• Manage global data, voice, and security infrastructure.
• Administer routers, switches, security devices, access points, and admin software.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Monitor, log, alert, and report network performance.
• Plan roadmaps and propose networking solutions.
• Install and configure new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors.
• Ensure security and compliance with IT Security guidelines.
• Manage outsourced NOC operations and WAN tuning.
