Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Network Architect to design and implement secure, scalable networks for national security missions. You will work on routing, switching, IP engineering, encryption integration, and system interoperability to support worldwide communications and defense projects.

You will leverage expertise in network protocols, security, and MBSE modeling to optimize architectures and drive modernization across networks. A TS clearance and relevant certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a network or data center systems engineer.
3+ years of experience in network architecture.
Experience in network design, protocols, and infrastructure, and with IPv4, IPv6, QoS, MPLS, or BGP.
Knowledge of network topology diagrams and modifying, as needed, using network diagramming software, such as MS Visio.
Knowledge of STIG network device security compliance, security hardening requirements, and secure device access control login methods.
Knowledge of network security principles and practices, including Crypto, COMSEC, ViPER, or VOIP, to install and configure network devices.
Ability to develop network architecture to support worldwide encrypted communications and model out bandwidth, data flows, and define data mission threads in MBSE.
Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
Network+, Security+, CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP Certification

Responsibilities

Develop and implement network design and architecture for mission-critical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to improve security, reliability, and availability.
Analyze current infrastructures and recommend modernization and interoperability improvements.
Advise clients on encrypted communications and bandwidth modeling for global operations.
Integrate encryption, firewalls, and secure access controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable network solutions.
