Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain enterprise networks in support of national security missions. You will work with government and contractor engineers to configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, and security across data centers, campuses, and remote environments.

This role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, DoW C4I familiarity, and certifications (Security+ and CCNA).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience configuring, implementing, integrating, or troubleshooting network infrastructures.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise networking technologies including switching, VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel, STP, routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, VRF, HSRP, ACLs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, MPLS, LDP, VPLS, Layer 3 VPNs (L3VPN), or comparable networking technologies.
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, proxies, identity-based access control solutions, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA), IEEE 802.1X, or network access control technologies.
• Experience developing technical artifacts, including network diagrams, implementation guides, configuration templates, standard operating procedures, or technical documentation.
• Knowledge of DoW Enterprise or Tactical Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) networks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, work independently or collaboratively, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

• Design, integrate, troubleshoot, and modernize enterprise network infrastructures.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure for secure communications.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, implementation guides, and configuration templates.
• Collaborate with government and contractor engineers on deployments and modernization efforts.
