Northern Trust in Naperville seeks a Manager of Network Applications Engineering to lead strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise network services across on‑prem, cloud, and data center environments. You will guide a global team responsible for DNS/DHCP/IPAM, load balancing, secure access, and network security platforms, driving modernization and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in network engineering for a large enterprise.
• 5+ years of leading teams.
• Experience in secure, scalable networks in financial services.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge and regulatory awareness.
• Automation and scripting against APIs; observability focus.

Responsabilités

• Define and document Network Engineering Standards.
• Create Low-Level Design documents to meet High-Level Design.
• Manage budgeting and procurement for new services and projects.
• Ensure smooth transition to Operations per Operational Acceptance Process.
• Provide on-call escalation support and extended hours.
• Produce performance reports for senior management.
• Audit and compliance reporting and evidence support.
• Maintain skills relevance to deliver change.
