- Maintain and write global NDE procedures, acceptance criteria, and techniques
- Standardize high-quality NDE operations across Flowserve’s manufacturing locations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, regulations, customer specifications, and Flowserve quality requirements
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality control teams to resolve NDE-related issues and discrepancies
- Provide training and guidance to personnel involved in NDE activities
- Operate as the global NDE Certification Authority
- Stay current with industry developments, NDE technology advancements, and regulatory changes
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote safety awareness, hazard identification, and risk mitigation
- Support escalated vendor and customer NDE quality concerns requiring subject matter expert review
- Support NDE personnel inspecting incoming materials, fabricated components, and finished products
- Support NDE personnel performing UT, MT, PT, RT, and VT inspections
- Support interpretation of NDE results and data and recommendations for further evaluation or corrective action
- Support vendor NDE procedure reviews and quality audit team vendor NDE program reviews
Requirements
- Minimum Certification of Level III in the NDE methods of radiographic testing (RT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) (e.g., ASNT Level III certification)
- Minimum Certification of Level III in 2 of the 3 following NDE methods: magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), and visual inspection (VT), with willingness to move up to Level III in the method not already certified at Level III (e.g., ASNT Level III certification)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in NDE inspection, quality assurance, or related field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to accurately evaluate and interpret NDE results
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly and concisely
- Nuclear Industry Experience (preferred)
- ANDE-1 Certification (preferred)
