Job summary

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, is recruiting a Director to lead the new MSME Department in Washington, DC. You will align global MSME strategy with regional delivery, drive data-led decision making, and oversee development of scalable MSME products and solutions.

You will work across IFC and the World Bank Group to strengthen evidence, partnerships, and client engagement while maintaining rigorous risk and development impact standards.

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to act as an integrator across teams and regions.
• Proven track record using data, analytics, and market intelligence to drive decisions.
• Experience developing, coordinating, and scaling financial and non-financial MSME products.

Responsibilities

• Lead global MSME strategy, set priorities, and align with IFC 2030 and country needs.
• Drive data and market analytics to guide product development and impact.
• Develop scalable MSME financial and non-financial solutions and coordinate regional delivery.
• Manage resources, budget, and talent while fostering an inclusive high-performing culture.

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, business administration, public policy, international development, or a related field
