Job summary

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, seeks an Extended Term Consultant in Washington, DC to support syndications, portfolio management, and analytics. You will work on mobilization initiatives, including B Loan programs and parallel lending, contributing to complex project finance transactions.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, cross-team coordination, and development of new distribution approaches aligned with IFC’s Originate-to-Distribute strategy.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent master’s degree in finance or business.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leading international bank or similar financial institution in emerging markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to manage complex credit issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage large syndicated loan portfolio projects and provide high-quality service to participants and investors.
• Execute refinancings, revolvers, and sell-downs for assets or pools within the portfolio.
• Prepare portfolio analyses and support management and investor presentations.
• Develop and update Power BI dashboards with market benchmark data.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure data consistency and align with Originate-to-Distribute strategy.
