Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim seeks a Senior Principal Expert, Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) to act as the go-to technical leader for Global Supply leadership. You will guide process optimization, mentor teams, and influence platform development across product lifecycles.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration, evaluate new technologies, and ensure regulatory alignment while traveling domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• PhD with minimum 5 years of industry experience; or
• Master’s with minimum 10 years; or
• Bachelor’s with minimum 14 years, plus 3 years leadership experience.
• Fluency in English is required; travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to technical and scientific expert for MSAT and Global Supply leadership.
• Lead development and deployment of technical solutions for process optimization.
• Provide guidance on new technologies and manufacturing platforms.
• Mentor MSAT experts and lead cross-functional projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and communicate with stakeholders.
• Lead and influence industry-wide technical discussions.
