Job summary

Actalent is seeking a senior Controls Engineer to lead automation projects globally, focusing on motion systems, PLC-based controls, and integration with SCADA. Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with hands-on experience in controls (minimum 5 years).
• Strong background designing and programming PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems (FT View, Optix, Ignition, iFix).
• Knowledge of industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Profinet).
• Ability to design integrated machine and motion control systems for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects for motion systems and process controls.
• Program and implement PLC-based control systems and sensors.
• Oversee hardware for control and safety systems.
• Collaborate with integrators and machine builders for turnkey solutions.
• Develop and deploy global automation controls and SCADA data analytics.
