Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Senior Manager in Mobility Tax to advise on expatriate and cross-border tax matters for a global client base in a balanced hybrid work environment. You will manage complex compliance and advisory work across the Mobility Tax practice, coordinating with colleagues worldwide while delivering strategic tax planning for international assignments.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years’ expatriate tax experience, a CPA license or active bar membership, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; MST, MAcc or JD/LLM preferred.
• 8+ years' expatriate tax experience (Big 4/global firm or similar).
• CPA license or active state bar membership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US and international tax rules for mobility.
• Experience with cross-border incentives and expatriate compensation is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mobility Tax compliance and advisory services.
• Prepare US and overseas tax filings and cost projections; assist with tax calculations.
• Lead workstreams, manage resources and budgets across engagements.
• Review tax costs estimates and deliver authoritative guidance to clients.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to identify opportunities for follow-on work.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver integrated mobility tax solutions.
