Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Business-fluent Japanese and English.
• 7–10+ years in Global Mobility or International HR.
• Experience managing international assignments and expatriates.
• Knowledge of immigration, payroll, tax, HRIS, relocation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of global mobility including relocation, immigration, payroll, tax, benefits and assignment administration.
• Oversee lifecycle of international assignments from initiation to repatriation.
• Act as liaison between U.S. HR, Japan HQ, leaders, assignees and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with immigration, payroll, tax and employment regulations.
• Partner with counsel and providers on immigration matters and policy administration.
• Manage relationships with relocation, tax, payroll, immigration and benefits vendors.
• Review and enhance mobility policies and processes.
• Support cross-border transfers and expatriate programs.
• Lead and mentor Global Mobility team members.
• Provide guidance to senior management on mobility matters.
• Maintain mobility records and reporting through HRIS and payroll systems.
