Job summary

AECOM seeks a Mineral Processing Practice Leader to drive growth, technical excellence, and market leadership in its mineral processing business. This senior role blends technical depth with commercial acumen and people development, with global reach and autonomy.

You will define the technical vision, lead engineers and metallurgists, and advance projects from feasibility through EPCM support, across base, precious, and critical minerals worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline with 10+ years in metallurgical/mineral processing engineering.
• Advanced degree preferred or demonstrated equivalency of experience in mineral processing design and engineering.
• Professional registration (CEng/PE) and familiarity with international standards are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth, technical excellence, and strategic direction of the Mineral Processing practice.
• Define technical vision and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and metallurgists.
• Drive business development across base metals, precious metals, and critical minerals globally.
• Mentor and develop the next generation of processing engineers and staff.
