Job summary

The Federal Group USA is seeking a supplier-facing engineer to manage metal manufacturing projects from sample development to full production. You will work directly with clients, factories, and the leadership team, reviewing prints and advising on methods/materials.

This role emphasizes supplier relationship management over shop-floor work. Ideal candidates have a strong manufacturing background, experience with PPAP/APQP/8D, and the ability to travel internationally for factory visits and

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with castings, forgings, cold headed or machined parts.
Background in supplier quality, sourcing engineering, program/launch engineering, or manufacturing engineering with vendor interaction.
Familiar with PPAP, APQP, 8D, corrective actions, GD&T, and print review.

Responsibilities

Manage metal manufacturing projects across an international supplier network from sample development through full production.
Advise clients on manufacturing best practices—methods, materials, and finishing options.
Review new projects for technical feasibility and manufacturing readiness.
