Job summary

EMD Serono seeks a Global Head of Medical Operations to define strategy and operating model for a global function spanning managed access programs, medical study operations, and project management.

You will lead a ~20-person team across regions, partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and IT, and ensure compliant, timely execution of medical affairs studies and expanded access programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, operations, project management, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research operations within a regulated environment.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams, including global leadership across regions.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and operating model for global Medical Operations (Managed Access Programs, Medical Study Operations, Project Management).
• Lead a team of ~20 professionals across regions.
• Integrate Medical Affairs with cross‑functional planning and governance.
