Job summary
Cherokee Federal seeks an Operations Coordinator - Medical Operations to support U.S. government medical services in Iraq.
Responsibilities include coordinating daily medical operations, staffing accountability, credential tracking and reporting, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and liaising with leadership and customers. Role requires travel to OCONUS (Baghdad/Erbil), overtime and holiday coverage as needed, and potential secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required in a healthcare-related field.
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare/medical operations experience.
- Experience with scheduling, staffing, reporting and document management.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Basic HIPAA familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations for medical services at the designated facilities.
- Maintain staffing and personnel accountability for multiple sites.
- Track credentials, licenses, certifications and training requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate daily/monthly reports and SOPs.
- Support incident reporting and medical evacuation documentation.
