Job summary

EMD Serono in the United States is seeking a Medical Director for the Global Medical Unit to shape and drive the evidence generation strategy for a high-priority oncology asset. You will define how medical evidence is generated, prioritized, and executed to support the asset strategy and address critical gaps.

Qualifications

• Medical degree required and oncology expertise in global programs.
• 5+ years in Medical Affairs or clinical development in global oncology roles.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical industry with medical affairs, R&D, or evidence generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated evidence generation strategy aligned with unit priorities.
• Identify evidence gaps and translate them into prioritized plans.
• Develop evidence concepts from questions to study design and execution.
• Collaborate with external experts to validate evidence priorities.
• Support advisory boards and scientific exchange to refine evidence priorities.
