Job summary

BW Converting in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Global Platform Commodity Leader for Mechanical categories to drive the global strategy, leverage spend across sites, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to optimize total cost and continuity of supply. You will lead supplier selection, negotiate agreements, and provide market outlooks while collaborating with the Enterprise Sourcing team in St.

Louis and five plants nationwide.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Experience sourcing mechanical components and industrial products.
• Experience in a global or matrixed manufacturing environment preferred.
• Certification in supply chain, procurement, Lean, or Six Sigma is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global mechanical commodity strategy across BW Converting.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, development, and performance reviews.
• Negotiate long-term agreements and other commercial terms.
• Partner with site teams to align platform strategy with local needs.
• Monitor savings, cost-out, and working capital improvements.
