You will partner with engineering, operations, and supplier teams to drive cost reductions, evaluate manufacturing options, and build long-term supplier relationships to meet aggressive schedules.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with cost modeling and lightweight BOMs.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and presentation abilities.
• Ability to guide design for manufacturability and cost across teams.
• Willingness to travel ~20% international, ~30% domestic.

Responsibilities

• Guide design for manufacturability and cost with engineering.
• Define sustainable sourcing strategy with cross-functional inputs.
• Develop robust supplier relationships for cost, quality, and capacity.
• Manage mechanicals cost BOM and drive alternatives to meet targets.
• Collaborate with Ops to understand FATP impact and optimize decisions.
• Identify and engage supplier partners to secure long-term cost-competitiveness.
