Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a CapEx Global Supply Manager for Mechanical Enclosures in Cupertino. The role focuses on optimizing equipment procurement, capital expenditure, and supplier partnerships to enable product launches.

You'll work with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and procurement to drive cost efficiency and risk management while maintaining schedule discipline. Apple offers extensive benefits and global relocation support where eligible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain development, sourcing management, or strong mechanical engineering background in product development.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing practices/techniques involving CNC machined parts, sheet metal, enclosures, jigs, tooling, fixtures, etc.
• BS Engineering, supply chain or equivalent; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand the technical aspects of Equipment and Tooling & Fixtures.
• Identify and drive reuse and cost-optimization opportunities.
• Data analysis to identify and parse process-related opportunities.
• Run ROI analysis.
• Create and manage a CapEx budget.
• Drive standardization in asset naming convention across suppliers and internal teams.
• Build relationships and drive cross-functional teams to consensus on opportunities.
• Organize projects with schedules, teams, and risk mitigation.
• Communicate Budget status to management clearly and concisely.
• Forecast and kickoff Equipment and Tooling & Fixture projects.
