Job summary

OSI Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Global Supply Manager – Materials to oversee sourcing of textiles, yarns, polyurethane films, adhesives, and related softgoods materials for a broad consumer technology portfolio.

The role focuses on on-time delivery, quality, and cost, while managing supplier relationships, capacity, and supply chain risks. Collaboration with product development, manufacturing, and engineering teams is essential for material qualification and ramp readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in NPI, ops readiness, or supply chain roles.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Experience with manufacturing operations, planning, capacity management, and supply chain execution.
• Strong project management with cross-functional coordination.
• Experience supporting material qualification, process validation, quality requirements, and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk evaluation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Global Supply Chain Management: identify, qualify, and manage suppliers of specialized materials.
• Production Planning & Delivery: develop material supply plans and capacity forecasts for on-time delivery.
• Supplier Management: monitor performance and drive accountability for quality, cost, delivery, and milestones.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for continuity of supply.
• Program & Project Management: develop plans, milestones, and cross-functional coordination.
• Material Qualification: lead qualification activities with CTS requirements and validation.
• Technology Development: support evaluation of new materials and manufacturing processes.
• Manufacturing Readiness: collaborate with suppliers for development builds and ramp.
• Post-Production Ramp Support: drive qualification initiatives and cost optimization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with engineering, product development, operations, quality, and procurement.
• Performance Monitoring: analyze supplier capacity, quality metrics, and delivery data to drive improvements.
• Stakeholder Communication: provide updates on status, risks, and mitigations.
