Job summary

Skyworks is seeking a Materials/Planning Specialist 2 to build and maintain a feasible Master Production Schedule aligned with company goals, partnering with engineering, production and purchasing to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a BS/BA in a relevant field and 5+ years in supply chain planning, production scheduling or related areas. Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP/Kinaxis/Rapid Response) and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

BS or BA in a relevant field such as Supply chain Planning, Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant experience in areas such as Supply Chain Planning, Production Scheduling or related.
Experience with MRP, ERP, advance planning tool (SAP, Kinaxis, Rapid Response is a plus).
Knowledge in manufacturing, planning processes, inventory analysis, forecast/demand.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform in-depth data analysis
Ability to work in global team environment.
Strong communicator, verbally and written.

Responsibilities

Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
Develops specifications for new contract orders.
Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other Enterprisewide systems.
