Job summary

BENTELER Group is seeking a Material Planner in the Logistics function to coordinate material release and ensure alignment with production schedules for global suppliers. The role focuses on planning, inventory control, and coordination with overseas partners to meet customer requirements.

The position requires a minimum of three years in Materials/Logistics, proficiency with SAP and MRP, and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Material planning activities to support production demand and satisfy customer requirements.
• Minimum of three years Materials/Logistics experience.
• Knowledge of SAP, MRP and Lean Manufacturing required.
• International material planning experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; some college preferred (two years).

Responsibilities

• Plan material to support production demand and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain inventory levels and accuracy to optimize working capital and space.
• Ensure designated storage locations using FIFO for all material.
• Provide internal and external customer support, especially with overseas partners.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve profitability.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping principles.
