Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
- 15 years leading innovation, R&D, advanced technology, or product development organizations.
- Proven leadership across global organizations and multiple geographies.
- Strong business acumen and customer-focused innovation mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a long-term innovation strategy aligned with growth objectives.
- Drive development of next-generation materials, technologies, and platform capabilities.
- Lead exploration, incubation, and commercialization of breakthrough innovations.
- Serve as a strategic technical partner to key customers and external stakeholders.
- Is a member of the Gore Performance Solutions Leadership Team.
- Steward innovation and R&D investments to maximize business value.
- Champion enterprise intellectual property strategy and technology differentiation.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global team of scientists, engineers, and innovators.
- Implement the Gore Business System throughout the Innovation function to accelerate development cycles and bring products & solutions faster to markets & customers.
