Job summary

Dana is seeking a Material Planner to analyze production schedules and forecasts, ensuring material availability and optimal inventory levels. You will work with purchasing and vendors to secure on-time delivery and manage material planning data in SAP or Oracle.

Collaborating with manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse teams to align material flow with production goals, you will help minimize downtime and support Dana’s global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience.
• 3+ years of experience in material planning or related field.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material needs.
• Maintain optimal inventory by tracking usage and initiating replenishment orders.
• Coordinate with purchasing teams and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Enter and manage material planning data in SAP or Oracle to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse teams to minimize downtime.
