Job summary

Quantum Design, Inc. is seeking a Master Scheduler to own the master production schedule across multiple product lines in a build-to-order environment. You will translate demand into actionable plans while balancing inventory, capacity, and delivery commitments.

You will partner with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to optimize manufacturing efficiency and respond to global planning needs for Europe and Asia. This onsite role requires strong analytical skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience developing and managing master production schedules in build-to-order environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, capacity planning, and MRP systems.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule for all product lines.
• Translate demand forecasts into executable production plans.
• Open, schedule, and reschedule manufacturing jobs based on priorities and resources.
• Manage inventory targets, safety stock, and material availability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to optimize planning.
• Support ERP/MRP utilization and planning process improvements.
