Job summary

Nomura is seeking an Analyst in its Americas Wholesale Strategy team in New York. You will work on global and regional projects, supporting senior team members on strategic initiatives to grow profitability and optimize operations across Fixed Income, Equities and Investment Banking.

The role requires 0–3 years in strategy/consulting, strong analytical skills, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency and a keen interest in macroeconomics and global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 0–3 years of consulting/strategy experience.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• PowerPoint proficiency for presentations.
• Quick learner with high-quality communication.

• Interest in macroeconomics, global markets and investment banking.

Responsibilities

• Work on global, regional and divisional projects in Americas Wholesale.
• Support seniors on key initiatives related to Americas and Global Wholesale.
• Perform business performance reviews and formulate strategic options to grow profitability.
• Analyze operating environment and market data for competitive insight.
• Prepare presentations for senior management meetings and town halls.
• Collaborate with global and regional strategy teams, finance and business heads.
