Job summary

Nomura is seeking an Analyst in the Executive Office for Global Markets and Investment Banking. Based in New York, you will collaborate with the Head of Wholesale and Strategy to manage communications, meetings, and firm-wide presentations.

You will partner with COOs, HR, Finance, Technology, Risk, Legal & Compliance, and Corporate Communications to drive division priorities and client engagement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; 1–3 years in financial services, media, or consulting.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with strategic mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication; experience in executive communications and messaging.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgment and discretion handling sensitive information.
• Strategic thinker; collaborative, proactive partner to stakeholders.
• Attention to detail; solutions-oriented.
• MS Office proficiency, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate executive committees and offsites; plan agendas and track actions; coordinate with senior stakeholders.
• Drive employee engagement through events, recognition programs, and liaison with HR and employee groups.
• Coordinate client engagement; prep for meetings, follow-ups, and conferences with Senior Relationship Management.
• Support internal communications; draft announcements, talking points, and improve information flow across the organization.
• Coordinate external communications; assist media engagement and messaging for the division head.
• Develop high-impact presentations for firm management committees, board meetings, regulatory sessions, and budget discussions.
