Basic Function:

Great opportunity for a seasoned, entrepreneurial marketing manager with a passion for product! The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical category such as skincare, haircare or haircolor with a focus on global marketing and product development. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and attention to detail are a must; creativity is a plus. Five or more years’ experience required. Major Duties:

1. Identifies consumer, salon, and technological insights and trends
2. Builds, maintains and protects the brand DNA while driving innovation
3. Fosters collaborative relationships with Domestic and International Marketing
4. Generates innovative product ideas and concepts that will continue to feed the future pipeline of brand growth
5. Leads the development process including product positioning, formulation, packaging, and pricing
6. Assists in development of category strategy, branding and advertising/communication
7. Evaluates and identifies cost savings, improvements and other ongoing initiatives to contribute growth and value to the bottom line of the organization
8. Supports management of the brand support budget
9. Support the management of the brand P&L in partnership with local markets
10. Conducts market research (Focus Groups, Surveys, Competitive Analysis) and identifies areas of focus
11. Co-manage and develop a Marketing Associate

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree required
2. Related work experience 5-7 years; language and international experience is a plus
3. Self-starter and entrepreneurial
4. Must be ‘hands-on’ and get involved with the details.
5. Development experience preferred
6. Able to demonstrate leadership and ownership of projects
7. Strong communication skills
8. Highly conceptual with strong affinity for aesthetics
9. A passion, curiosity and natural interest for beauty
